Race day was a tough one for Walker and his team in terms of problems with the kart set up but they managed for the best. Walker started heat one in 9th place and worked his way up to 3rd chasing down the leaders, Marina Yardley and Mckay Snow, overcoming a two second gap. In heat two Walker started on pole and led from start to finish giving him a front row starting spot for the main event along side Marina Yardley. Walker took the lead from the start and opened up a small gap over Marina Yardley in the opening laps. Marina then closed the gap and pressured Walker for the win in the closing stages but was unable to complete the pass as Walker struggled with his chassis handling. A troubling weekend with a satisfying finish as Walker and the crew look forward to the last two races of the season. A special thanks to Jay Hess for tuning, and team support as always!
